forever 21 online shopping

So I decided I NEEDED to do some online shopping the other night... and when I say NEEDED, I mean wanted, haha.

One of my favorite stores is Forever 21. I love how inexpensive their clothes are, they have a huge selection, and I always seem to find 5 million things I think I need.

Here's what I ended up purchasing:
Let's start with the basics
- Basic Tunic Tank in Peach - $4.80
I have a ton of these tanks in different colors, but I realized I didn't have any in a cream or light pink, and decided it was a must have, especially for so cheap!

- Relaxed Linen Top in Peach - $13.80
I love the relaxed, slouchy look! This top is so versatile. It can be worn with a casual pair of jeans or shorts, or be dressed up under a blazer with some pretty jewelry.

Moving on to sweaters, cardigans & outerwear
- Notched Lapel Blazer in Peach - $22.90
I couldn't find an image of the peach blazer I got :( But this is the same exact blazer, just a different color. By now, you probably think I'm obsessed with peach... well you're right. Up until now, I didn't have too many clothes in this color. It's so pretty and can be worn with so many other colors. It also seems to look really good with my skin tone. Blazers are my go to fashion piece. They can make any outfit look good!

- Slub Knit Cardigan in Olive - $15.80
Another neutral. You can never have too many neutral cardigans and sweaters. I have a pair of olive colored boots, and I think this cardy will go perfect with them.

Bottoms
- Polka Dot Skirt in Taupe/Black - $8.50
Skirts seem to be the new thing! You can wear them with a pair of tights and heels in the winter or a slouchy tee and ballet flats in the summer. This skirt will def be worn!

Jewelry
- Rhinestone Pendant Necklace in Gold - $3.80
Simple & elegant. This necklace can be worn solo or paired with a few longer necklaces.

- Bridal Shower Necklace in Gold - $3.80
I basically got this necklace to wear with the one above, haha. I love the layered necklace look.

- Lacquered Bow Studs in Gold/Black - $1.50
You can't beat $1.50 earrings... sure they may fall apart after I wear them a few times, but for only $1.50 it's worth it. If you know me, you know I'm obsessed bows. These are perfect!

- 3-Piece Earring Set in Black - $2.80
My boyfriend, Ryan knocked my fav pair of black studs right out of my ears the other night at a Blazer game. I needed a replacement and this set came with not one, not two, but three pairs of earrings. So I said "Hell Yah!"

Grand Total = $77.70 plus I entered in some random promo code and got a "free gift". No clue what it is, but I'm excited to see. I'll keep you posted on what it is ;)

In conclusion, you can probably tell that this was more of a basics shopping trip. I focused on versatile pieces in colors that work well with what I already have or are flattering on me. I kept in mind that it's February, and spring is coming soon, although the weather will probably be cold & wet for a while. I still made sure to get pieces that could be worn in the winter or spring.

Stay tuned, next post I'll show some of the recent outfits I've worn!
